Spouse Support & Staying Married
Since 1985, I have counselled over 76,000 women who discovered that their husbands are gay/bisexual. This was following the collapse of my own marriage to a gay man. In this country, it is estimated that over 4 million women are married to or have been married to gay men, and there are millions more throughout the world. In almost all cases, women with gay husbands are unaware of their husbands’ homosexuality at the time of the marriage. Through the years, I have worked with over 76,000 women who had to face this devastating news at some point in their marriages after 5, 10, 20, 30 or even 40 years
Bonnie also does work with gay husbands and is one of the most caring, fair people I have spoken to in this field

Webmaster Note: Whilst Gay Dad Support Net doesn’t encourage men to seek out same sex relationships within their heterosexual relationships it would be naive to think such things do not happen. I’ve added these not to encourage such things but for you to make your own grown up decisions. Of course, those already on the other side of their journey can do as they wish. Remember, there is no such thing as ‘safe sex’ only ‘safer sex’. Always use a Condom.
Perhaps you have always been aware of your Bisexuality and attempted to suppress it, perhaps it’s something that has surfaced just recently. But being a Bisexual or Bicurious guy can crop up at any point in your life. Being Bi may well grab you by surprise! The fact of the matter is that you’ve come to a point where you’re starting to realise that you cannot deny your sexuality or ignore these bi feelings that you’ve secretly been having for men.
They may also offer genuine non sexual support but my impression was that they were certainly very open to the idea of members hooking up for sex.

All the world’s major religions are faced with having to come to terms with a modern understanding of homosexuality. The place of gay and lesbian people in the life of the Church is currently Christianity’s most divisive issue. Confronting homophobia is its greatest challenge. The Lesbian and Gay Christian Movement is proclaiming a basic Christian truth. It is working for the very love and freedom that Christ brings to his people through his life, death and resurrection. LGCM is working for love, for peace, for justice, and for the promotion of the Christian faith especially within the LGBT community.

Lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender (LGBT) affirming Christian denominations are Christian denominations that do not consider homosexuality or transgenderism to be sins. Some are composed mainly of non-LGBT members and also have specific programs to welcome LGBT people, while others are composed mainly of LGBT members.
As society is learning to accept gays based on basic human rights, this website supports homosexuality as an orientation based on Scripture.
It is our belief that the Original Scriptures, when understood in the correct context and culture of their time, make no mention of homosexuality. References to same-sex acts were with regard to rape, domination, idol worship, purity laws for the priests, etc. We condemn these acts as well, but recognize that they do not relate in any way to a loving, monogamous relationship between two people of the same sex
